Abstract Background Frailty is a dynamic, multidimensional syndrome that highly prevalent in older adults (65 years or older), which increases one’s dependency and vulnerability to adverse health outcomes, including mortality. The Edmonton Frail Scale (EFS) commonly used screening tool for identifying frailty adults. purpose of this systematic review meta-analysis determine the diagnostic test accuracy EFS identify adults, as well predictive outcomes associated with frailty.
